On the outer fringes of the Galaxy resides a mysterious puppet-master, he is… The Antic.

Kind umpire of men’s miseries and fates, force behind many a meddling megalomaniac. He once had tea with Caligula and claims he helped Nero light the blue touch paper! Bored of retirement he finds entertainment in guiding and influencing the works of well known writers. The Antic’s current project is WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE.

A Throne of Shadows began life in October 2017, and has since blossomed in to a much larger concept than ever envisaged. Created by actor Simon Brandon (a bit of a sci-fi geek) and his Father-In-Law Keith Balderson, A Throne of Shadows is truly a home grown series, filmed on location but mainly in the garden studio in Sevenoaks- a converted potting shed!
